Footer Block: Change text of disable responsive link from “View Full Site”

With responsive grid turned on (and it should be on by default as of version 3.8), there is a link to disable the responsive view of the site and by default, the link text is “View Full Site”.

You can change this text but it requires PHP.  This means, you either need to put this in your
child theme functions.php or in a custom site plugin.   Since it is theme specific, it should go in the child theme functions.php so that if you ever change themes, the function won’t trigger a fatal error and deactivate the plugin.

function hw_view_full_site() {
return sprintf('<p class="footer-responsive-grid-link-container footer-responsive-grid-link-disable-container"><a href="' . $url . '" rel="nofollow" class="' . $classes . '">' . __('View Desktop Site', 'headway') . '</a></p>');
}
add_filter('headway_responsive_disable_link','hw_view_full_site');

Then you can change “View Desktop Site” to whatever the desired text is.
