Mass Block Selection

While drawing and arranging blocks in Grid Mode, you may want to move multiple blocks at once.

Example:
You selected a preset layout in the Grid Wizard. But the preset doesn’t include a breadcrumb block, and you want to add one. With Headway’s mass block selection mode, you can save time by moving multiple blocks simultaneously. In this example, you would use mass block selection to move the content, widget, and footer blocks downward to make room for a breadcrumb block.

  1. Enter mass block selection mode by double-clicking a block. A notification appears near the upper-right corner of the screen while you’re in this mode.
  2. Double-click each additional block you want to select. (Double-click a selected block to deselect it.)
  3. Click and drag one of the blocks to move all selected blocks.
  4. Click the X in the selection mode notification, or press the Esc key, to return to normal mode.
