Are you new to Headway? Ready to learn more and take your site design to the “next level” – whatever that is? You’re probably looking for resources.
At Headway, we’re committed to great support; we’ve got a fabulous, dedicated support team hanging around the forums and waiting for your questions – and email support if we can’t get it resolved on the forums. Most of the time, though, you can save yourself a headache (and wasted time) just by knowing where to look for the tutorials and documentation you need!

Are you completely new to the web – as in, no website, no host, no domain – no nothing? Read our Getting Started from Scratch guide to take you from zero to Website in a few easy steps. If you have a WordPress site already, just skip to the section on How to Install Headway.
Learning WordPress: Our Own WordPress 101 Series
We’ve got a codex page dedicated to helping you learn how to use WordPress – because you really should understand the WordPress basics before you start trying to develop and design a WordPress site! Bone up on the basics or learn as a complete newbie to the WordPress scene.
The Headway Codex
We’ve got our own Codex! Check out the Headway codex for the resources linked above, see the tutorials we’ve linked and to search for anything you need to know. When you’re in Design Mode in the Visual Editor, and you can’t figure out what Instances are, search for it in the Headway Codex. (If you’re searching a term found in the Visual Editor, your result will most likely be in the top 3. ) Before you know it, you’ll know everything there is to know about Customizing for Instances and Layouts, and you’ll probably leave with a ton of new ideas for your site.
Search the Headway Blog for Tutorials, Screencasts and Features Updates
The Headway team tries to post to the blog regularly with updates on new features, tips for your website, and yes – tutorials! In fact, this post is the first in a new series of tutorials that I hope to be posting a couple of times a month, so keep an eye out on the tutorials category here!. In fact, you can even subscribe to just the Headway Tutorials via RSS (or the whole blog!) so you don’t miss anything.
